Freezetag Robots
|
Basic rules: green means run, red means freeze. Now on your marks; ready, set, go! To introduce people of all ages to the world of robotics, we built mini-robots that we bring to our outreaches to engage interest in STEM and FIRST. With a small but colorful chassis, our robots are speedy and capture the essence of robotics in a fun, childhood game: freeze tag. Competitors are hooked right from the beginning as they drive our small bots around a flat FTC competition field. Once given their robots, the competitors are paired into teams of two; together, they try to capture all of the other robots before the timer ends.
